Man – Machine Affairs
Authors: Nina Bačun, Anders Mellbratt
The authors question existing technology, its impact on the individual and society, as well as relationships between man and machine. By collecting stories and experiences through interviews, discussions and questionnaires, and aided by the method of ideation, synthetic and practical case studies; they reached their first conclusions.
They singled out two cases for further investigation for the purpose of a joint co-creation of future scenarios with the help of designed objects (discussion objects). In order to expand their discussion platform, during the exhibition, the authors use methods taken from the world of theatre — setting up pseudooffice for consulting which in fact serve as a cover for collecting information.
The visual identity, scene design and appearance are all part of the method by which the authors initiate dialogue with visitors.
